In a bowl, blend together one cup of water, one tablespoon of molasses, 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar, and 1/4 cup of sugar, and one tablespoon of molasses.

After blending, put the solution in a recycled tin can and hang it on the tree to attract the flies and trap them. Every so often, throw out the tin can and refresh with a new one.
