Washers and dryers, like all major appliances, have to be replaced eventually. However, there is usually a question of what to do with the old set before purchasing a new one. Owners can donate the appliances or recycle them or even make some money by selling them. Some businesses will buy used washers and dryers, whether they are working or not. Of course, the washers and dryers that are still operational are more valuable than those that are not.
